Hey guys! Sorry for the bad update! I had so much work to do these past days. I have now finished my 7 day raw food detox! Overall I feel very good and I really got the energy and vitalizing boost that I wanted. I did "cheat" a couple of times... :P I had friends over and we ate some hummus (cooked) at the evening of day 6, and I also went to a restaurant and had some cooked food at the evening of day 7... So we can just say that I finished the detox a bit earlier than planed... :P
I really had so much fun with this and I feel super happy and grateful just looking back on all the amazing food I got to eat last week... <3 Here's some of the stuff I ate and drank the last two days.
Breakfast - wheat grass shot & green juice
I have had a shot of wheat grass every morning these past day's. I learned to drink wheat grass last year at Hippocrates Health Institute. This is really the place to go if you’re looking for real, hard-core natural healing!
I also had a big glass of green juice. In this juice I had: Cucumber, celery, spinach, sunflower sprouts, lemon and pea shoots.
Lunch - smoothie bowl
For lunch I had blueberry and blackberry smoothie bowl with lots of coconut flakes and mint leafs on top. (Sorry for the bad quality pictures, I didn't have any battery left on my camera)
Last day I had a acai bowl for lunch with seeds, fruits, and some peanut butter on top.
Dinner - raw pad thai
This is a kelp noodle based raw pad Thai that I had for dinner on day 6. I don't have a recipe for it but I do have a sweet potato raw pad thai recipe that I made last month during the sweet potato plant crush. I also made some rice paper dumplings with a cashew-kimchi filling. Super yummy!
Snack - mango
Simple fruit snack, super sweet and yummy mango!
