Yesterday was the release party for Marina and Maria's first book RAW FIKA (COFFEE BREAK in swedish)! So great to see them tell their story about how they met for the first time, little over a year ago and decided to start a cafe together.
A real success, it turned out, after just a few months at their new cafe, they were contacted by Bonnier which is one of the biggest publishing companies here in Sweden and they wanted to publish their first book! Absolutely incredible and very inspiring!
We had dinner yesterday at Matthew Kenney's new restaurant Plant Food and Wine. According to me, it's the best vegan restaurant LA has to offer. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera yesterday to take proper photos of all the beautiful dishes, so these mobile photos is all I got.
We ate pretty early since we had plans later, and also because we're swedes :p But I happen to know that the restaurant was fully booked for later that night. It makes me so happy to see how many people over here that's interested in healthy and plant based food.
